Conrad Weiser senior midfielder Jessica Duncan has made a commitment to play NAIA lacrosse at Columbia College (S.C.).

College Choice: Columbia College, South Carolina
Major lacrosse honors: Most offensive for 2012 and 2013, along with the county 2nd team.
Academic honors: National honor society, President of Junior Classical League (Latin club), member of ski club and SADD (students against destructive decisions).
Intended major: Biology (plan to attend veterinary school to become a large animal veterinarian)
Why did you choose school? “I chose Columbia because I am sure I will have a good experience there. The coaching staff is easy to get along with and being that it is a new program I am excited to help give it a name. Also, Columbia is a small school and that is the type of environment I need to succeed. And on top of education and lacrosse, the area around the college is gorgeous and I’m sure I will enjoy myself greatly.”
Looking back at 2013 and ahead to 2014: “Over the past 4 years playing lacrosse for my high school team we have achieved a lot. We improved our record drastically from the time I was a freshman and I am sure this will continue on for my senior season.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank Xeni Barakos for teaching me mostly everything I know about lacrosse; Hayley Dietrich for being my main supporter and my “sissy” throughout my whole high school career; my parents Loretta and DJ for giving me all the support I could possibly ask for in order to get to where I am; and my cousin, Stephanie Wiggins, for giving me my initial interest in lacrosse.”
