Why did you choose this school? “I really liked the big-city setting (Pittsburgh). There’s so much do stuff to do. It’s a very nice campus, and I felt like Duquesne would be good place for me to have success academically and on the lacrosse field. I really liked the coaches and players and it seems like a real good fit all the way around for me.”
Reflections on your high school career: “I had an amazing time at Boyertown playing basketball and lacrosse – especially my senior year. I made friends forever. The dedicated and hard-working coaches were amazing and always supportive.”
Other comments: “I’d like to thank Audrey Netttles for starting the Bolt (youth) program and getting me started in lacrosse. I would also like to thank all my coaches and of course, my parents – they were always supportive and I really appreciate all they’ve done.”
Boyertown coach Pam Wernersbach: “Kait has been a really positive player for us at Boyertown. She has worked very hard since she was a freshman at improving her own skill set as well as doing whatever we needed her to do for us to be successful; winning draws, feeding, scoring, or leading a zone defense. Her height, speed, and game awareness will really allow her to be a key player at Duquesne. If she goes in to their program playing the way that she did going out for us, she will have a huge impact.”
