Penn Manor goalie Nick Kirk (11th-12th grade division) and Devon Tavani (9th-10 grade division) were awarded the Fastest Shot championships recently by Maplezone’s Bill McGlone during the Strath Haven Fall Laxfest.

Kirk, using a short stick, fired his fastest shot at 98 MPH, while Tavani, a freshman attackman, came in at 90 MPH.

The contest was run by co-run by McGlone, a professional player and former Ridley All-American who is head of training at Maplezon, and the SHHS Lax Boosters.
