Boston College senior goalie Shea (Conestoga) named MCLA D1 All-American

Boston College senior goalie Nick Shea (Conestoga) has been named an MCLA Division I Third Team All-American.

Shea was a two-year captain and four-year starter for Boston College and led the Eagles to a 13-1 season and the Pioneer Collegiate Lacrosse League (PCLL) title in 2013.

In 53 career games, Shea compiled 581 saves (.617 average) and had a 6.81 goals against average. Shea also earned All-PCLL First Team honors this year while being named the PCLL Defensive Player of the Year.

Shea helped BC advance to the MCLA National Championships this year where it fell to Sonoma State in the first round.
