Avon Old Farms (CT) post-graduate midfielder Will Friedman, who played at Great Valley and for the Duke’s L.C. and HEADstrong L.C., has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the College of Holy Cross.

Why did you choose school: “I chose Holy Cross because of the excellent academic opportunities and the longstanding lacrosse tradition. Coach (Jim) Morrissey is doing great things at Holy Cross. He emphasizes hard work and a strong team culture. He, his coaches and the whole team made me feel welcomed.”
Outlook for your high school team: “We have a lot of talented returning players and a strong showing of upperclassmen along with many good up and coming underclassmen. Our goal is to win the Founders League.”
