Shawnee High School (NJ) junior midfielder Steven Boyle has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Hartford.

Major lacrosse honors: 2015 Brine New Jersey South Team, 2015 Brine All-Star, MVP UDel All-Star

Academic Honors: Honor Roll Freshman and Sophomore years

What will you major in/study? Physical Therapy/Health Sciences

Why did you choose Hartford? “The school size, class size, location, majors, and lacrosse were all what I was looking for.”

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “Last year we were a young team and made it to a State Championship. I felt that it was a great year. This year I feel confident that we can have the same success.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my mother and father for all of their time and support. I would also like to thank Tim Gushue, JC Valore, Erik Stilley, and Joe Duncan for all of their support and advice over the years.”
