Shawnee senior midfielder Caroline Shinske has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University.

Why did you choose school: “All around Hopkins was the perfect school for me. Between the amazing team and coaching staff, world renowned education, and a competitive lacrosse program, I knew it was where I belong.”
Outlook for your high school team in 2014: “Although we graduated a big class of seniors, I predict our team still being very strong. After winning the NJ Group 4 State Championship last season, we’ll be working to win it again in 2014.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents and my brothers for always being there for me from day one; my high school coaches (Coach Zechman, Coach McCormick and Coach Greenburg); my SJS coaches, and all my teammates who have helped me throughout my lacrosse career.”
