Academy of Notre Dame senior midfield-attack Victoria DiGiacobbe has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at High point University.

Why did you choose school: “From the minute I stepped on campus, I knew HPU was where I wanted to attend. The welcoming and nurturing environment of not only the school but the team was so inviting. It is the perfect fit academically and I could not picture myself playing for any other coaches or with any other group of girls. Coach (Lyndsey) Boswell and the coaching staff are fantastic and under their leadership the team has an exciting and bright future!”
Outlook for your high school team: “I am very excited for the 2014 lacrosse season. We have a great group of girls, four talented seniors and many outstanding returning players. We are excited to have some excellent underclassmen join our team. We will build on our 2013 season to have an even more successful season this year!”

Also a big thank you to my club coaches, Christa Somits and Kevin Ryan, for always encouraging me and helping me strive to become the best lacrosse player I can be.
