High School: Archbishop Wood

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: Face-Off Midfield

College Choice: Catholic University

Club Affiliation: LB3

Major lacrosse honors: Philly Showcase, Top 205, Hoboken Shootout, NSCLA, Brine Shootout

What will you major in/study? Mechanical Engineering

Why did you choose Catholic? “Catholic has a great engineering program; it also presents many internship opportunities in the industry being located in Washington, D.C. Coach (Brooks) Singer made me feel welcome from the minute I stepped onto campus. He has a great lacrosse program and I’m excited to play in a competitive conference.”

Outlook for your High School team? “Our upcoming season is looking great. We are in the middle of tryouts and I’m excited to see all of the young talent coming up along with the upper-classmen camaraderie.”

Additional Comments: “I’d like to give thanks to LB3 for helping me get my name out there and teaching me the game of lacrosse. Thanks and also indebted to the Archbishop Wood coaches Jim Buery, Steve Foedisch, and Kevin Banks (2012) along with all of my teammates for taking me in, as a junior transfer last year, and making lacrosse a joy for me again.

“I need to also thank my Waterville Valley Academy snowboarding coaches for their understanding that lacrosse is very important to me as well, and that they support my decision to leave the snowboard competition season early to be back in Pennsylvania for High School lacrosse. Of course, my Mom and Dad, I couldn’t have done any of this without them!”
