St. Joseph’s Prep senior defenseman Sean Ebert has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at the University of Scranton.

Major lacrosse honors: Big 4 Invitational All-Star, Blue Chip 225 Elite, Top 205

What will you major in/study? Business – Undecided
Why did you choose Scranton? “I chose Scranton because it is a great fit for me. Scranton has a great balance between academics and athletics, and after talking to Coach (Doug) Sage, I knew it was the school for me.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We have a strong senior class that is committed to working hard. We look to improve from last year and have success in the Philadelphia Catholic League and State playoffs.”

Additional comments: “I’d like to thank my parents for supporting me through the entire process, especially my father for teaching me the sport when I was young. I’d also like to thank Coach (Eric) Gregg, Coach (Kevin) Coyle, and Coach McKinney for helping me become a better player throughout my high school career.”
