Ridley senior attackman-midfielder Patrick O’Brien has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Hood College.

Club affiliation: Team X, PYLA

Major lacrosse showcases: Maryland Lacrosse Showcase, Laxworld

What will you major in/study? Marketing

Why did you choose Hood? “I chose Hood because of the size of the school, family like atmosphere, and the challenging liberal arts eduction. Also Hood is building an up and coming lacrosse program with strong leadership in its coaching staff.”

Outlook for your high school team? “My outlook from a team perspective is to take each game as it comes with the goal of winning the Central League Championship then to move on to States.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my Mom and Dad for supporting me and being at all my lacrosse events throughout the years. I would like to thank all the coaches I have had in my youth lacrosse career as a Ridley Green Raider, especially Sean Ralph. Also I want to send a thank you to my high school coaches including Kevin Ellers, Doug Ellers, Jeff Murray, Chris Crooks, and Steve Naumowich.”
