The 2012 Central Bucks Athletic Association A1 team defeated host Power Time, 5-4, to claim the championship Sunday in the High School JV Division at Power Time Sports in Flemington, N.J.
CBAA, comprised of 8th graders and one 7th grader, was led on defense by Mack Schwartz, Andrew Bulotta, Nick D’Ambrosio while Stephen Hogan was strong in goal.
The middies included Owen Griffin, Logan Nelsen, Zach Lipkin, Jack Lamb, Grant Porter, Jack Darcy, Michael Foster, and Andrew Stuardi. The attack was lead by Colin Cahill, Keith Becker, and Ryan Brown.
Goals Sunday were scored by Nelsen, Becker, Cahill and Brown. The team finished the season with a perfect record of 9-0 while playing against local JV teams from New Jersey and Pennsylvania. CBAA was coached by Scott Lipkin, Chris Darcy, Dan Brown, and Head Coach Steve Hogan.
Other CBAA players that contributed to the season’s success but were unable to play Sunday included Matt Webster, Nick Yerkes, Craig Coleman, Michael Mehlmann, and Owen Debuque.
