West Chester East junior midfield-attack Cassidy Luidens has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

Why did you choose Nova? “I chose Villanova because it’s where I can get an excellent education while being part of a lacrosse program in a great conference. I can’t wait to play for Coach (Julie) Young. Her staff and the team made me feel welcome from the start. I also loved the tight knit community and beautiful campus that is close to home.”
Outlook for your High School team? “While we have a new coaching staff, I believe that we can be a factor in the Ches-Mont League this year. We have a strong core of returning seniors and underclassmen that have been playing together for several years. Although the league will be tough, I am confident we are going to have a great season.”
Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank my parents for supporting me through this process and being with me every step of the way. I would also like to thank all of my PA Express coaches for giving me great advice and helping me on and off the field. It has been a great experience playing lacrosse for East and PA Express, but I can’t wait to be a Wildcat!”
