Moorestown (N.J.) senior midfielder Stephanie Toy has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame.

Stephanie Toy log:

Stephanie Toy

High School: Moorestown High School

Graduation Year: 2012

Position: Midfield

College Choice: University of Notre Dame

Club Affiliation: South Jersey Select

Major lacrosse honors: (2011)…All-American, All-State, All-South Jersey, All-Conference, Midfielder of the Year voted on by WLCSJ. (2010)…Honorable Mention All-American, Second Team All-South Jersey, All-Conference.

What will you major in/study? Business/Finance

Why did you choose Notre Dame? “I chose Notre Dame because I fell in love with the school when I went to visit. The campus is gorgeous. Also the tradition and school spirit is unlike anywhere else I have been.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “Moorestown should have another successful year. We graduated a few key players but we have a great group of girls and should be able to adjust from these losses. I expect us to have a better season than last year.”

Additional comments: “I would like to thank my parents. They have been there supporting me through everything and I couldn’t have been successful without them. Also I would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Knobloch (K.C. and Deanna). Both have been great mentors and friends throughout my high school career.”
