Academy of Notre Dame junior midfield/defense Kaileen O’Donnell has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Fairfield University.

Major lacrosse honors: Northeast Top 215, Carolina Winter Elite Camp, Delaware Exposure Camp, Philly Showcase.
Academic honors: National Society of High School Scholars, Coach for 5th/6th grade girls lacrosse team, Official for KRF Middle School lacrosse tournament.
What will you major in/study? “I plan on studying communications with a minor in marketing.”
Why did you choose school? “I chose Fairfield University because I not only love the location but the campus is beautiful. When I went on my visit I automatically fell in love with the town, campus, and team. Fairfield has everything I am looking for in a college. For the past four years the Fairfield lacrosse team has been the regular season champions in the MAAC. I am looking forward to playing for Coach (Mike) Waldvogel, Coach (Laura) Field and Coach (Caitlin) Young. I look forward to my future on the Fairfield lacrosse team.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “This year we are looking to win the Inter-Ac! We have some tough competition but are looking forward to a banner in the gym by the end of the season.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents and my brother for all of their support and help throughout this process. I also want to thank my PA Express coaches for their help on and off the lacrosse field. I would like to thank my high school lacrosse coach Erin Cook for all of her help throughout my lacrosse career. I also want to thank the Coaching staff at Fairfield University for making me feel so welcome on the team! Go Stags!”
