After dropping 22 straight games, Upper Darby’s boys’ lacrosse team has now won two in a row.
The host Royals defeated Norristown, 11-7, Wednesday, just a day after toppling Friends’ Central, 7-5, to snap the skein.
Mark Lantieri had three goals and three assists and Chris Stone scored three goals while Josh Davidson had a pair as the Royals improved to 2-4. Sean Stone stopped 10 shots for the win.
Sean Calhoun led the Eagles with three goals.
Moorestown 7, Hillsborough 5
The Quakers got three goals from Matt Olbrich and two more from Alex Martinelli while Danny Willis made 13 saves for the victory.
Gloucester Catholic 19, Moorestown Friends 6
Steve Jackson scored five goals and Jake Turner and Nick Lanciano each had four goals and three assists to lead Gloucester Catholic to the non-league win.
Tyler Mills had two goals for Moorestown Friends.
St. Augustine Prep 6, Montclair 0
Joe Gigantiello made 10 saves to earn the shutout for the Hermits, who got four goals and two assists from Steve Pontrello.
North Harford (MD) 15, Unionville 12
Dave Apruzzese scored four goals and Max Kelly added three goals and two assists to lead the Indians in defeat.
Strath Haven 15, Upper Merion 3
Kevin Sherry had three goals and an assist, Mitch Cross had two goals and three assists and Bryan Leonard, Bryan Mizell, Tucker Carney and Mack Cross added two goals each for the Panthers (5-1).
Archbishop Ryan 15, Father Judge 2
Nick Levan had five goals and an assist and Tim Taylor collected four goals and two assists for Ryan.
Archbishop Wood 15, Conwell Egan 3
Chris Rahill had six goals and three assists to lead the Vikings to the Catholic league win.
St. Joe’s Prep 19, Lansdale Catholic 0
Anthony Marini had four goals while Nick Ellis and Pat Walsh added three apiece for the Hawks in the Catholic League win.
AJ Simon (5 saves) and Mike Marchese (2 saves) combine for the shutout.
Owen J. Roberts 17, Pope John Paul II 6
Tyler Graham poured in six goals and added two assists to propel OJR to a Pioneer Athletic Conference win.
The Wildcats (3-1) also got two goals and five assists from Chris Antich, a hat trick from John Pennell, two goals from Will Snelling and 12 saves from goalie Mathias Szczepanek.
Matt Copley and Phil Goreski posted two goals each for PJP (1-4, 1-5).
Spring-Ford 19, Pottsgrove 4
Paul Major’s four goals and three assists led the Rams to the PAC-10 win.
Also for Spring-Ford (4-0, 5-1), Zach Monzo collected three goals and one assist, D.J. Young delivered a hat trick and Stephen Bock and R.J. Ward came through with two strikes each.
Pottsgrove (1-4, 2-4) was led by Steve Ambs’ hat trick with one assist.
Perkiomen Valley 9, Methacton 7
Ryan Boyd had three goals and an assist and Sean Tornetta added a hat trick to help the Vikings improve to 3-1 (3-2 overall) in the PAC-10.
The Warriors (1-3, 1-4) were led by Luke Herber (2 goals, 2 assists).
Boyertown 12, Phoenixville 5
The Bears stayed perfect in four PAC-10 starts behind hat tricks from Tyler Fuhrman ( 2 assists), Chris Lees and Alec Palladino.
Alex Clark led the Phantoms with two goals.
