Spring Camp
Philadelphia Wings Lacrosse Camps, this April at Maple Zone in Boothwyn, PA. The camp directors are Brodie Merrill, Dan Dawson and Kevin Crowley, and other Wings players will be also be attending the camps
Camp 1 – Monday, April 2nd and Tuesday, April 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, and
Camp 2 – Wednesday, April 4th and Thursday, April 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for 6th, 7th and 8th graders.
The camps are scheduled during Spring Break in many school districts, so this is a great way to fill part of your son’s Spring Break calendar. The camps will be limited to 50 campers each, so please register early because they will sell out quickly. The camps will be “Hybrid” camps, where campers will learn both field and box lacrosse skills that will make them a better lacrosse player. The camp directors are some of the best lacrosse players in the world, so campers will have an opportunity to learn from players who have excelled in the NCAA, NLL, MLL and the World Championships.

Lehigh Mountain Hawks Day Camp, Grades 1-10, Monday June 18– Thursday June 21st, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm – Extended Day 3:15-4:15 pm
Camp Description: This camp was developed to help beginners through advanced players improve their skill set with exceptional College level instruction in all aspects of the game. The Lehigh Men’s Lacrosse Staff as well as Lehigh varsity players, other college coaches and college players will be here to pass on their energy and knowledge. The extended day is an extra hour at the end of each day focusing on positional skill and collegiate like drills. We will look to reinforce what the campers learn during day and go into greater depth with in those specific parts of the game. Click here for registration.
Villanova University Overnight Instructional Camp, July 10-13, for athletes aged 11-to-17 that are interested in improving their basic skills and learning the techniques of lacrosse. The camp will be divided into a two junior divisions (11- and 12-year olds and 13- and 14- year-olds) and a senior division (15-to-17). The entire Villanova University Men’s Lacrosse staff as well as local high school coaches and many of the best current college players will be coaching. The highly skilled and beginners will benefit from the college and high school coaches who teach at the camp.

Showcase Camps
Philly Boys Showcase Camp, June 15-17, at St. Joseph’s University, open to players in the graduating classes of 2014, 2015, and 2016. The Camp will be co-directed by Taylor Wray, Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at St. Joseph’s, and by Peter Lawrence, Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at the University of Hartford. The Camp will also feature educational seminars off the field on topics including the college recruitment process, NCAA rules, strength training, and nutrition.

Lehigh Valley Rising Senior Showcase, Boys Grade 12 & PG, Tuesday June 26th – Thursday June 28h, at Lehigh University.
Camp Description: The Lehigh Valley Showcase is designed to provide rising high school seniors from the Lehigh Valley and across the country with advanced skill development in a highly competitive, tournament style, playing environment. The showcase will provide a platform for players to display their skills in front of college coaches from Divisions I, II, and III, as these coaches will be invited to serve as instructors and also as recruiters. Off the field, players will take part in strength and speed training clinic (results will be given to take home at the end of camp), recruiting & academic seminar, and a leadership/character building seminar. The mission of the Lehigh Valley Showcase is to help prospective student athletes gain visibility within the recruiting landscape, while helping them grow as players and as people.

Villanova University 150 Showcase, 2 Sessions (Recruiting Classes of 2014 and 2015)
Dates: 1st Session June 30-July 2; 2nd Session July 13-15
This event will bring together some of the most talented rising sophomores and juniors in the country. Open to all prospects in the 2014 & 2015 classes, this three-day, two-night event will feature a practice run by college coaches, a recruiting seminar presented by the Villanova Men’s Lacrosse coaching staff, as well as 5 one-hour games for players to showcase their talents.

Lehigh Valley Rising Junior Showcase, Boys Grade 11, Wednesday July 25th – Friday July 27th, at Lehigh University
Camp Description: The Lehigh Valley Showcase is designed to provide rising high school juniors from the Lehigh Valley and across the nation with advanced skill development in a highly competitive, tournament style, playing environment. The showcase will provide a platform for players to display their skills in front of college coaches from Divisions I, II, and III, as these coaches will be invited to serve as instructors and also as recruiters. As one of the last showcase events of the summer, this is a great chance to be seen before the 2014 recruiting season gets rolling (September 1 is the first time college coaches can communicate with a PSA per NCAA rule). Off the field, players will take part in strength and speed training clinics (results will be given to take home at the end of camp), recruiting & academic seminar, and a leadership/character building seminar. The mission of the Lehigh Valley Showcase is to help campers gain visibility within the recruiting landscape, while helping them grow as players and as people.
