Two high school lacrosse players each won $50 coupons for Dick’s Sporting Goods in the weekly Trivia Question Contest run Thursday night on @phillylacrosse.

Boyertown senior goalie Austin Mutter (@AustinMutter) and Wissahickon freshman middie Tyson Hugee (@FollowTyson) will each get prizes after being the first to answer the question: What was the first year that an induction was held for the Eastern PA Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of fame AND what Canadian was inducted that year.

The answers were (1) 1998 and (2) Michael French, co-owner of the Philadelphia Wings and a former Canadian National star and NCAA champion at Cornell University.

The question was directly related to what’s happening in the Philly lax scene.

Just last weekend the Philadelphia Lacrosse Association released its list of nine legends to be inducted into the eastern PA Chapter of the Hall of Fame. Click here for the story.

Also, the Wings are gearing for the 2013 season and will be showcased at the Fan Fest at the US Lacrosse National Convention on Jan. 11, 2013. Click here for the story.

Each week gives away a $50 coupon (or maybe two) to the winner of the Trivia Question Contest. Watch for the promos on Twitter @phillylacrosse.

And remember that Dick’s is offering 10 percent off most lacrosse apparel and equipment until Dec. 31 for readers. Click here for the discount coupon.
