Thursday’s girls’ highlights: Conestoga dominates Radnor; Henderson remains undefeated, Pennsbury tops Abington

Katie Smith scored five goals and Abby Lord added three as Conestoga thumped host Radnor, 15-7, Thursday in a Central League girls’ lacrosse game.

Meghan McGillis and Maggie Friel each added two goals and Sarah Priem had nine saves for the Pioneers (5-3, 4-2).

Radnor (6-3, 3-2) got three goals from Taylor Quinn and two goals and an assist from Natalie Miller.

Pennsbury 11, Abington 10

The Falcons (6-4, 3-1) had a day to remember in Suburban One National play, defeating the Ghosts for the first time in program history.

Liana Eyre had 16 saves and Carson Smith was a force on the draws while Joy Hopkins (two assists) and Jackie Sweeney (one assist) each scored four goals.

Meredith Cox had a big day for the Ghosts, contributing five goals and five caused turnovers.

Germantown Academy 21, Hill School 14

Brooke Kiley had five goals and an assist and Caroline Haynie four goals and three assists for GA in the non-league win.

Cassidy Jemo led Hill with five goals.

Unionville 13, West Chester East 10

Kristen Newbrough fired in six goals and Nikki Bonaduce made 11 saves to lift the Indians to the Central League win.

West Chester Henderson 11, Bishop Shanahan 7

Katelyn Fay had six goals and an assist as the Warriors (10-0, 5-0) remained undefeated.

Summer Jaros led Shanahan with four goals.
