West Deptford senior defenseman Timothy Fair has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Major lacrosse honors: Member of US Lacrosse U15 National NJ South All-Stars in 2008; 2009 – 2nd Team All-Conference; 2010 – 2nd Team All-Conference; 2011 – 1st Team All-Conference; All-South Jersey; Honorable Mention All-American; Attended: Blue Chip 225 Elite Division (played in both Elite All-Star Games); Warrior Diamond Lacrosse Showcase in 2010

What will you major in/study? Civil Engineering
Why did you choose school? “The great location, excellent coaching staff, an elite program that is all about winning and playing the game the right way, perfect academic fit. I am positive I will receive the best experience at Stevens.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “Led by an experienced senior class that has high hopes to content for a conference championship that seems to slip out of our grasps the past couple years. We also want to prove to the big Group III and Group IV schools that West Deptford may not have the the roster numbers that they have, but we can still play with you and we can beat you. Also, we have our sights set on a home playoff game and making a run deep into the state tournament.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents for supporting me and pushing me into honing my skills and becoming a leader on and off the field. I would like to thank my coaches, not just my lacrosse coaches but also my basketball and football coaches, for molding me into the man I am today and giving me building blocks for success in the face of adversity.
“I would like to thank my current and past teammates for giving it their all in practice so everyone can get better and we can get the job done at the end of the day on the field as one.”
