Kingsway senior midfielder Kyle McLaughlin has committed to play Division II lacrosse at Florida Southern.

Graduation Year: 2012
Position: Middie
College Choice: Florida Southern
Club Affiliation: South Jersey Shamrocks
Major lacrosse honors: Top 205, 2nd Team All Conference (as a long pole for high school)
Academic honors: Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Top 5% of class
What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose Florida Southern? “I felt it was the best combination of education and lacrosse available for me.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We expect to go further then in the past, with 12 returning seniors and several of them being all conference players. We look at the season as one game at a time, each one hopefully resulting in wins.”
Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my mom for never letting me quit at anything I do. She taught me the concept of heart and never giving up. I would like to thank my dad for being such a great role model for me and teaching me to do my absolute best at everything I do. And also I would like to thank my grandfathers, Charles McLaughlin and Joseph Mulhern for coming to all my games since the fifth grade.”
