Saturday’s boys’ HS highlights: Downingtown East tops Springfield-Delco; Penncrest, Lawrenceville, Salesianum, Hill, Shipley win

Kyle Lauletta had four goals and three assists and Aaron Murphy had fur goals and one assists while Kevin Clarke won 17 of 19 face-offs to lift visiting Downingtown East (8-3) to a 12-6 victory Saturday over Springfield-Delco in non-league boys’ lacrosse.

Steve Halko had four goals and an assist for Springfield-Delco (7-3).

Penncrest 9, Kennett 6

Matt Klodarska, Will Manganiello and Dylan Protesto each scored two goals for the Lions in the non-league win.

Lawrenceville 7, Northfield Mount Herman (MA) 1

Mark Leonhard and Walker Kirby (one assist) each scored twice for the Big Red and Matt O’Connor had 11 saves.

Salesianum 16, Tatnall 0

The Sals improved to 6-1 with the shutout win as Jay Kelly had four goals and an assist and Bailey Martin had three goals and two assists.

Hill School 17, Blair Academy 6

Eric Foote had three goals for the Blues (5-2, 2-0) in the Mid-Atlantic Prep win.

Shipley School 9, Cardinal O’Hara 7

Mac Gallagher had four goals and Ian McGibbon 13 saves for the Gators in the non-league win.

Tim Coyle had 13 saves for O’Hara.

Harriton 12, Roman Catholic 5

The Rams outscored Roman Catholic 4-0 in the fourth quarter to break open the game and earn a non-league win.

Zach Fink led the Rams with five goals and one assist. Tyler Walsh added three goals.
