During the tourney organizers will again be raffling off the Official Care for the Cure Headwrapz CPXr (courtesy of Lacrosse International) with a Twitter contest.

The Cascade helmet will be raffled off on the day of the tournament based on a content where people tweet in reasons why they deserve the prize. Last year’s winner, Jordan Smith, has done several school projects that involves Care for the Cure.

On August 15, 2008, Caroline (Care) Cranston, at 24 years old, was diagnosed with leukemia. She lost her fight on May 8, 2010. In high school, Care played lacrosse for West Chester Henderson and continued her lacrosse career at Duquesne University. The tourney’s mission is to bring the lacrosse community together and to raise awareness and funds for this terrible disease.
