Two Philly club teams, Philly Elite and Baggataway Lacrosse Club, have partnered with American Indoor Lacrosse for a specialized winter training program.
Players in these clubs will have the opportunity to learn the unique skills of indoor lacrosse from AILA’s expert instructors. AILA’s InCrosse program will introduce skills and tactics from the indoor game and help these elite players integrate their indoor skills to compliment their already superior field skills.

The eight-week AILA Academy will be staffed by Canadian Hall of Famer and Wings Head Coach Johnny Mouradian, Wings and Outlaws pro Steven Holmes (Germantown Academy), and Wings defenseman. The first two weeks of the program will focus on the education academy and then it will move to six weeks of games with teaching oversight from the coaches.

The AILA program focuses on rugged play, fast pace action, read and react tactics, and quick stick mechanics.

Philly Elite will play at BucksMont Indoor Sports Center in Hatfield and Baggataway will play at at Marple Arena in Broomall.

AILA staff is looking forward to working with groups of dedicated athletes and demonstrate the indoor advantage.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome these two clubs into the AILA experience,” said Holmes. “We are passionate about teaching and are very excited to share the benefits of box lacrosse with these young players. We believe this will prove to be a great experience for all involved.”

To inquire about specific team training please contact Johnny Mouradian jmouradian@ailmacrosse.net or Steve Holmes sholmes@ailacrosse.net.
