NXTsports is proud to announce the hiring of Robin Baxter as Director, NXTevents. Baxter joins NXT from Widener University, where she has held the position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach since 2006.
Baxter also has served as Widener’s NCAA Compliance Coordinator, responsible for educating all Widener student-athletes about NCAA rules and compliance requirements. Baxter will immediately take charge of NXT’s fast-growing NXTevents division comprised of fun and exciting championship tournaments held at elite venues around the country.
Said Andy Hayes, President of NXTsports, “We are very excited to add someone with Robin’s exceptional qualifications as the first official Director of NXTevents. As the sport of lacrosse spreads across the country NXT is committed to running lacrosse tournaments that meet the growing nationwide demand and always exceed the expectations of our attendees.
“Robin’s skills, drive and experience will guide our NXTevents division and will push it to new heights.”
A native of Delaware County, Baxter graduated magna cum laude from New Hampshire’s Plymouth State University in 2002 where she was a member of the Panthers varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams. She also possesses a Masters in Sport Management from Neumann University.
Baxter resides in Brookhaven, PA with her husband Jeff, and daughters Campbell, 3 and Teagan, 3 months.
