The Re-Education Foundation (TREF), is a non- profit organization establish in Philadelphia. The sole purpose is to provide programs for the “under-served” community. The program’s goals are business networking, spoken word, mentoring, tutoring and boys’ lacrosse, to name a few.
As the TREF approaches the 2012 Summer season, it is looking for volunteer coaches that can assist in showing 20-25 boys from the inner city of Philadelphia (TREF- Tomahawks) how to play the game of lacrosse at a high level. In addition, the coaches will develop practice plans based around their athletic abilities.
The season will include one or two tournaments and single game scrimmages in the tri-state and Mid-Atlantic region (coaches are asked to travel). The program has a good group returning boys from last summer, with tremendous athletic ability and coach-abilities.
Please forward your resume of playing and/ or coaching experience to theREeducation@gmail.com
Although, this is a volunteer position, however stipends may be awarded upon the end of the season. This is a great resume builder, as you can help build the inner city lacrosse scene.
