Villa Maria Academy senior attack Catherine Bendinelli has signed a National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse at Villanova University.
Bdendinelli was joined by family, friends, classmates and the Villa Maria community for a signing ceremony after school.
Bendinelli said, “I chose Villanova for both the strong academic and athletic programs. The campus is beautiful and not too far from home. I am very excited to play for Coach Julie Young as she continues to take the lacrosse program to the next level in pursuit of a Big East championship!”
Bendinelli plays club lacrosse for PA Express.
