Villa Maria senior defender Maddie McTigue signed a letter of intent to continue her lacrosse career at Temple University.
McTigue was joined by her family, coaches, teachers and classmates at Villa Maria Academy during a signing party held at the school.
McTigue helped Villa Maria (16-5) advance to the Athletic Association of Catholic Academies finals and the second round of the District 1 playoffs last year.
McTigue plays club lacrosse for PA Express.
