St. Joseph’s Prep junior attackman Joe Walsh has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Bucknell University.

Why did you choose Bucknell? “Bucknell is a great school with an amazing campus, and it is a great fit for me both academically and athletically. I’m looking forward to playing under Coaches (Frank) Fedorjaka and (Joe) Conner for such a dedicated and talented program. I also love how the players are enthusiastic about playing against the top competition every season.”
HS team’s outlook for the spring season: “Our team has a lot of potential this year and we’ve been working hard in the off-season. Our goal is to build on last year’s success and make it back to the PIAA State Championship.”
Other comments: “I want to thank my family for supporting me through the entire process, Coach (Eric) Gregg and former Coach (Ryan) Greer of the Prep, Twist coaches (Jack) Devlin, (Greg) Flego, and (Joe) Serio, along with Coaches Fedorjaka and Conner.”
