West Morris Central (N.J.) junior midfielder Kevin Reidinger has committed to play Division I lacrosse at St. Joseph’s University.

Kevin Reidinger log:

Kevin Reidinger

High school: West Morris Central, N.J.

Graduation year: 2013

Position:
Midfield

College choice: St. Joseph’s University

Club affiliation: Leading Edge Elite 2013

Major lacrosse honors: Varsity Starter since Freshman Year; 2011 MVP for West Morris; 2011 Midfielder of the year for West Morris; 2nd Team All Fitch Conference 2011; Honorable Mention All State 2011; Participant in All Star Game at King of the Hill Tournament

What will you major in/study: undecided

Why did you choose school: “I chose St. Joseph’s because it is a great academic school and had a very beautiful campus. I liked the coaches very much as well. They seem to have the drive needed to make their lacrosse program a better one in the near future. I also believe that I can have an impact on the team right from the start.”

Outlook for your high school team: “Hopefully we will have a better year than last year and if everyone puts in the hard work that’s needed in the off season, there is no reason why we shouldn’t be a solid team come this season.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my two Leading Edge Coaches, Coach Roy and Coach Malfa; and I would also like to thank my parents for supporting me through everything and for driving me everywhere even if it was at 4 in the morning.”
