Ben Krieger log:
Ben Krieger
High School: William Penn Charter School
Graduation Year: 2012
Position: Defense
College Choice: Haverford College
Club affiliation: Penn Charter
Major lacrosse honors: Rutgers MVP, Brine Shootout, Inter-Ac Invitational Semifinals
What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose Haverford? “I chose Haverford because it provided the perfect combination of great academics and highly competitive lacrosse. Coach (Colin) Bathory was very welcoming and has a great philosophy for the program. Also, the team is a great group of guys that are all extremely close to each other.”
What is your outlook for the upcoming season? “Although we lost some key contributors on offense, we have the young talent to be successful. On defense we are returning our entire starting lineup from last year so we should be tough to beat. Overall, I believe we will compete for both the Inter-Ac title and the Inter-Ac Invitational championship.”
Additional Comments: “I would like to thank Coach McDonough, who has helped me develop both on and off the field the past few years, my teammates for making each season enjoyable and memorable, and lastly my parents for supporting me through everything.”
