Why did you choose UMBC? “Academically, UMBC is well known for its science and math programs which is where my aptitude is, so I feel I will excel there. Also the coaches are very professional and interested in developing the athletes into well rounded individuals in addition to being lacrosse players. Lastly the team is very fun to be with and seem genuinely happy. After my overnight I knew UMBC was where I wanted to be.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “The outlook for this season is promising. We did very well last year and although we lost some key players, I believe other players on the team will step up and assume their roles as part of the team. We have a terrific head coach (Kevin Fogerty) and assistant coach (Jason Markle) who strive to better us as people before players. I believe that this combination will prove successful in the 2012 season.”
Additional Comments: “I would like to thank- my parents Stephen and Debra Searfoss, Kevin Fogerty, Jason Markle, and Joseph Serio.”
