Council Rock North senior goalie Mark McDonald has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Goucher College.

What will you major in/study? Communications and participating in Army ROTC
Why did you choose Goucher? “The academics at Goucher will help me best to pursue a career. The campus was very nice and everyone at Goucher was very welcoming. Goucher is in an ideal location for me.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We have a new coach this season and our entire team is very excited. We have players on our team that have been playing together since 6th grade and this being our last high school season, we are ready to make a good run. Our underclassman are a big help as well. We have made a name for ourselves and we plan to continue on doing so.”
Additional comments: “I would like to thank my coaches at Twist, Coach Devlin, Coach Flego, and Coach Lavin for their help with my summer lacrosse and helping me with the recruiting process. I would also like to thank my former coach, Joe Kivlen, for moving me to goalie freshman year and helping me through everything. I would like to thank my siblings for all the encouragement. Lastly I would like to thank my parents for everything they have done for me and in helping me to achieve my goals. I’d also like to thank Steve Herold for helping me with start of lacrosse.”
