Chaminade (NY) rising junior defenseman Matt Wysota has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Villanova University.

Why did you choose Villanova? “Villanova offered me a school with not only great lacrosse, but great academics as well. The coaches and the atmosphere of the school are a great fit for me and seem like a perfect match. When I visited I felt at home, Villanova welcomed me into their family like no other school could, making the decision easy.”
Outlook for 2013 HS season? “We have a team with great talent and we hope to win a championship.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my parents as well as the rest of my family for their constant support of everything I do. I would also like to thank all my coaches, specifically Coach Jack Moran for helping me so much throughout the entire college process and pushing me to become the best lacrosse player I can be.”
