Springside Chestnut Hill Academy senior attackman Clint Sanders has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

What will you major in/study: Business
Why did you choose school: “I chose Widener because it is a great fit for me, both academically and athletically. I also love what Coach (Brendan) Dawson has in mind for the future and I am really excited to be a part of it. I also really liked the chemistry the team had, which I saw during my visits.”
Outlook for your high school team: “I am very excited about this season. We have become a very tight knit and mature team, after being a predominantly young team the past few years. We play in the Inter-Ac League, and I expect us to turn a few heads with our performance this year.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my family, especially my parents, for supporting me through everything. I would also like to thank Coach (Mike) DelGrande (SCH) for his help throughout the recruiting process, and for everything he has done for me throughout high school. I would also like to thank Coach Colin Ambler (Bandits) for getting my name out to Coach Dawson. I would also like to thank Coach Bob Ambler, Coach (Anthony) Gabriel, and Coach Neary for their coaching over the summers.”
