Maple Zone boys’ recruit: Ridley rising senior defenseman Eufrasio commits to Marquette

Ridley rising senior defenseman Nick Eufrasio has committed to play Division I lacrosse at Marquette University.

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: Defense

College Choice: Marquette University

Club Affiliation: HEADstrong

Major lacrosse honors: Under Armour All- America Team Philly, Philly Showcase Fab 40 2010-11, First Team All-Central, Second Team All-Delco

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Marquette? “Marquette has a great academic program along with an outstanding athletic program. After my last college visit I knew Marquette was the right fit for me. When meeting with Coach Joe Amplo and his staff they made me feel welcome and it seemed like I was at home. I am very excited to spend four years at a school like Marquette and start a legacy.”

Outlook for 2013 HS season? “Take the season game by game and win a State Championship.”

Other schools considered: Mount St. Mary’s, Rutgers, Villanova, St. Joes

Additional Comments: “First, I would like to thank my Parents and my family for helping me be a better lacrosse player and pushing me to my potential.
