Moorestown (N.J.) senior attackman Wade Dickey has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

Wade Dickey log:

Wade Dickey

High school: Moorestown High School

Graduation year: 2013

Position: Attack

College choice: Widener University

Club affiliation: TriState Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors, camps: Tri-State National, Champ Camp, Baltimore Summer Kick Off, King of The Hill, Blue Chip 225

What will you major in/study: Pre Law

Why did you choose school: “Widener is a great fit for me, academically and athletically. I really liked the campus. Campus size and location were important factors for me. Coach (Brendan) Dawson’s approach to coaching lacrosse and his relationship with his players were both a strong draw as well. Overall, I felt at home at Widener.”

Outlook for your high school team in 2013: “I am real excited with possibilities that the 2013 season might bring. We have a strong senior class with a lot of depth and experience, that combined with some strong juniors at key positions and a couple of sophomores that had the opportunity to get some varsity time last year should all add up to a great season.”

Maple Zone Sports and Fitness Complex, the official sponsor for Phillylacrosse.com Boys’ Recruits, congratulates Wade Dickey. Maple Zone, located on Conchester Pike in Boothwyn, offers numerous programs, leagues and instructional activities for boys’ and girls’ lacrosse players and also offers boys’ U13 and U15 travel teams.
