Mechanicsburg senior attackman Dakota Landis has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Marymount University.

What will you major in/study? Business Administration
Why did you choose Marymount? “First off, Marymount is a great school with amazing teachers, students and administrators. Marymount most importantly had the major I was looking for and it also has a consortium program that allows me to take classes at other institutions. Also Marymount is in a great location is right outside of DC which is a great city to be in for my major.
“Finally, Coach (Jon) Reynolds and his staff were great throughout the whole recruiting process and I really like the direction Coach Reynolds and his team are going. So after my last visit down there were I met some other recruits and the players I knew it was the place for me.”
Outlook for your high school team? “Every year our team is getting stronger and stronger. Last year we had our best season in program history and we are looking to carry that momentum into this season. Also we have a lot of incoming freshmen and the future is looking bright for Mechancisburg lacrosse.”
Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my parents and my grandparents for coming to all of my games and always being there to support me. And my parents for driving me to all of my tournaments and on college visits.
“Also I would like to thank my high school coach Chris Newman and my club coaches Jeff Gatano and Jeremy Mattoon for helping me through the whole recruiting process. Finally, I would like to thank my high school teammates for making every season memorable.”
