Hatboro-Horsham senior goalie Kyle Mullen has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

Kyle Mullen log:

Kyle Mullen

High School: Hatboro-Horsham High School

Graduation Year: 2013

Position:
Goalie

College Choice: Widener University

Club Affiliation: LB3

Major lacrosse honors: Had 18 goals, six assists last year as first-year midfielder on team that tied for Suburban One Liberty Division championship; Montco Keystone champions, Jr Division-2009

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose Widener? “After my first visit I knew right away that Widener was a perfect fit for me academically and athletically. Coach (Brendan) Dawson was also great throughout the whole process and I feel that he has the right ideas for the teams future.”

Outlook for your high school team next season? “I think that our team is still very strong after losing last year’s seniors. We also have a great chance to win the conference this year and go far in playoffs.”

Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my family, especially my parents for always pushing me to do better and my older brother, Ryan (PSU), for having someone to compete with all the time. I would also like to thank all of the LB3 and HH coaching staff for everything over the years.”

Maple Zone Sports and Fitness Complex, the official sponsor for Phillylacrosse.com Boys’ Recruits, congratulates Kyle Mullen.
