Garnet Valley senior attackman Brock D’Annunzio has made a verbal commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Ursinus College.

What will you major in/study? Biology
Why did you choose Ursinus? “I really liked the location, the campus, and how Ursinus has a great reputation with my intended major. I talked to many people who went there and they all had positive things to say. I liked how everyone on the team made me feel right at home immediately. I especially like the comprehensive approach that the Ursinus lacrosse program offers to the student athlete. Coach (Jamie) Steele, Coach (Gary) Merc (Mercadante), and Coach (David) Page made me feel very positive about choosing Ursinus. I am really looking forward to being there.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “Although we lost a lot of very good players, we have a talented core group of seniors returning this year. Add to that the capable juniors and sophomores coming up and I feel like we will be able to have a very competitive season.”
Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my parents first for their support over the years, both on and off the field. I also would like to thank all of the coaches who have helped me along the way, especially Coach Urso, Coach Snow, Coach Kivlen and Coach Neary.
