Why did you choose North Carolina? “I chose UNC because it was the perfect mix of what I wanted in a school. On my visit, Coach (Joe) Breschi explained his coaching philosophy and priorities of family, academics, and athletics. The order was extremely appealing and important to me. I also loved the relationships that Coach (Pat) Myers, Coach (Chris) Feifs, and Coach (Brian) Holman had with all the players. UNC is a perfect combination of lacrosse history and tradition along with outstanding academics. I am excited to have my college experience at Chapel Hill.”
Outlook for HS team in 2013: “With how the 2012 season ended I think everyone is excited for the 2013 season. We did loose a great group of seniors but we possess a lot of young talent. I have faith that our experienced coaching staff will lead us in the right direction.”
Other schools considered: Virginia, Georgetown, Princeton, Maryland, Notre Dame and Harvard.
Other comments: “I want to thank each of my Episcopal coaches. Coach (Andy) Hayes for his help through the recruiting process and coaching since middle school, Coach (Marty) Kupprion and Coach (Will) Gibbs for their support and guidance. I also want to thank my coaches at Dukes Coach (Ebe) Helm and Coach (Jason) Christmas. My NXT coaches who helped me grow and develop as a player, Coach (Brett) Manney, Coach (Michael) Avato, and Coach (John) Park. Thanks to all my coaches from Ashbee and middle school. I also want to thank my family for all their support and love throughout the process.”
“I would also love to thank some great people over at Lacrosse Unlimited in Ardmore; Joe Gwin and Henry Crochiere for helping me get to the place I am today.”
