Why did you choose Delaware? “After visiting a few colleges, I chose the University of Delaware because as soon as I stepped on campus it felt right. The coaches were so welcoming and understood me very well. Delaware is the complete package for me, with a top-notch lacrosse program with amazing facilities, a beautiful campus, and of course great academics.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “After losing a strong senior class with many key players, we are junior heavy but have a solid and experienced team. We are very excited to start the season and look forward to competing for the Chest-Mont title.”

Additional Comments: “First I would like to thank my mom and dad, brother and sister, and all of my friends who have supported and encouraged me every step of the way.

“Next I would like to thank my high school coaches, (Jon) Heisman, (Paul) Meyers and (Eric) Carruthers, who have grown me as a player since my freshman year. I would also like to thank all of my coaches with Duke’s LC club (Ebe) Helm, (Jason) Christmas, (Joe) Vetrone, (Chris) Fallon, (Eric) Gregg, and (Billy) McKinney; along with my Mesa Fresh coaches (Pat) Carney, (Peter) Scott and (Pat) Campbell, who have helped me get seen by many coaches and given me every opportunity possible.

“Lastly, I would like to especially thank Coach (Mike) Mackrides who really helped me every step of my recruiting process. He was there to guide and support me through out the whole way and made the process very enjoyable.”

Other schools considered: Penn State, St. Joesph’s, Hofstra, Drexel, Rutgers
