Why I chose Mercer: “I chose Mercer because it seemed like the right fit for me both academically and athletically. When I went down for my overnight visit I knew it was the place for me. I loved the campus and the new facilities are unbelievable. This is program that is on the rise and has a very bright future. Coach (Kyle) Hannan and the other coaches are going to do a great job and I am very excited to play for them.”

Outlook for 2013 HS season: “We hope to have a good season at Wood. We will have some young and new players in there, but we trust our coaching staff and hope to be a contender in the Catholic League.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank first and foremost my parents for always supporting me. I’d also like to thank my high school coaches, coach (Jim) Beury and coach (J.P.) Banks, and my Twist coaches, coach (Jack) Devlin, coach (Greg) Flego, and coach (Joe) Serio for everything they have done for me. Lastly I would like to thank coach Hannan and the rest of the Mercer staff for giving me this outstanding opportunity.”
