Longstreth girls’ recruits: Six from region are headed to Division II schools

The following recent Philly graduates have signed Letters of Intent to play Division II lacrosse for the Class of 2016.

Hannah Cowan, Ursuline Academy (DE), attack, West Chester University – She was an All-Star pick at the Philly Showcase and the Delaware Sr All-Stars, and she helped Ursuline finish 11-5 and advance to the Delaware state playoffs.

Kaitlin Crouthamel, Souderton, goalie, Millersville
– She helped her team finish 10-7 and qualify for the District 1 playoffs.

Kathy Flanagan, Archbishop Prendergast, attack, Shippensburg – She earned first Team All-Catholic League honors and helped her team advance to the league semifinals.

Caroline Kuchinsky, Bishop Shanahan, midfield, West Chester – She was a third Team All-Ches-Mont League pick who also was a Philly Showcase All-Star pick as a junior.

Nicole Schmidt, Emmaus, attack, Slippery Rock – Scored 63 goals and earned All-Lehigh valley Conference while leading her team to a 15-8 season.

Kaitlynn Wiltraut, Nazareth, midfielder, East Stroudsburg – Led her team to the Lehigh valley Valley Conference and District 12 championship while earning league MVP with 94 goals and 35 assists.
