Wilson West Lawn junior midfielder Madison (Maddie) Terefenko has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Oregon.

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose Oregon? “Once I visited Oregon I knew it was the place for me. The campus was very compact and it’s easy to get around. The sports complex was impressive and the lax coaches and players were great. The big time sports environment was very exciting. Oregon seemed a perfect fit for me both academically and athletically, it was exactly what I was looking for. I couldn’t be happier with my decision!”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “It’s hard to say at this point. Our school is in the processes of hiring a new coach this year. I think we will be competitive in our county and get at least a District run. We really did not lose too many starters from the previous year. I look forward to a challenging season!”
