Radnor rising senior defender Brooke Pancoast has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Michigan.

Brooke Pancoast log:

Brooke Pancoast

High School: Radnor High School

Graduation Year: 2013

Position: Defense

College Choice: University of Michigan

Club Affiliation: STEPS Philly Elite 2013

Major lacrosse honors: Philly 2 team in National tournament

Academic honors: District Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? “I’m not sure yet but I plan on studying something along the lines of business or finance.”

Why did you choose the school?
“I chose the University of Michigan because I was looking for a big school that was also great academically. I love that it is a new program and I have the chance to try to earn a spot on the field as a freshman. Meeting Coach (jennifer) Ulehla and Coach (Jen) Valore (Moorestown grad and former Temple assistant)made choosing the University of Michigan very easy.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “This year we fell one game short of making it to the state finals and we plan on changing that next year. We are all really excited to compete next year and hopefully make it all the way to Hershey.”

Other comments: “I’d like to thank all my coaches at Radnor for believing in me and for making Norlax a fun but intense experience. I would also like to thank my coaches growing up on the SEPA lacrosse team and my coaches now on my STEPS team.”
