Longstreth girls’ recruit: Moorestown junior midfielder Angeleri commits to Vanderbilt

Morrestown junior midfielder Francesca Angeleri has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Vanderbilt University.

College Choice: Vanderbilt

Club Affiliation: South Jersey Select Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: Under Armour Team New Jersey; National School Girls South Jersey;
All-County Lacrosse South Jersey as a Sophomore; 6 Varsity Letters in Lacrosse, Soccer and Basketball.

What will you major in/study? Business/Law

Why did you choose Vanderbilt? “Vanderbilt is a top ranked school not only in lacrosse but also academically. It has everything a big school has to offer but on a smaller scale. I also felt very comfortable with the coaching staff and program.”

Outlook for your high school team? “Moorestown High School Girls Lacrosse is looking great for next year. We graduated many seniors but we have talented players ready to move in. Our goal is to repeat our Tournament of Champions win.”

Additional Comments: “First I would like to thank my parents and my brother Michael for all their support. I would also like to thank my high school coaches, Mr. and Mrs. Knobloch, my club and rec coaches throughout the years for helping me become a better lacrosse player. I would also like to acknowledge all my soccer and basketball coaches because they also helped me become a better all-around athlete.”
