Cheltenham senior defender-midfielder Gabby Szczepanek has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at Temple University.

Major Lacrosse Honors: Academic All-American, 4-year varsity starter, SOL Second Team All-League, captain.
Academic Honors: National Honor Society member, honor roll all four years.
Intended major: Communications or Journalism
Why did you choose your school? “My parents are both Temple alum, and my dad works there, so I’ve grown up visiting TU, and have always loved it. I wanted to stay close to home so my family can still see me play, and I wanted to be in the city, and Temple is just that! Temple offers so many majors that I am interested in, and the team and coaching staff is so nice and welcoming. It’s an all-around perfect fit!”
HS Outlook for 2013: “We lost very few seniors, and are a very hard-working and determined group, and we’re all excited for the upcoming season with the playoffs as our goal!”
