Chris Goldberg is here for the nightcap of the Inter-Ac invitational semifinals as second-seeded Episcopal Academy 916-5) meets Lawrenceville School (17-3).

Top-seeded Haverford School (21-1) downed Malvern Prep, 9-5, in the opener. The Fords are seeking their fourth Invitational title in four years; EA seeks to make it to the finals for the second time in three years. The Big red have never reached the finals.

1st period

EA – Tyler Odell converts on a man-up situation (X), 10:50 – Churchmen up 1-0
LS – Brendan Newman ties it, unassisted, 10:18 – now 1-1
EA – Odell converts again, off feed from Ian Strain, 9:05 – 2-1 EA

LS – Newman scores unassisted to tie it with 20.4 seconds left, 3-3 game

End period – wow what a stretch for Episcopal Academy, won the quarter 5-0 against one of the top goalies in the country

4th period

LS – Walker Kirby scores from Nick Minnow to stop the flood, man-up goal, 9:23 – now 8-4 EA

EA – Strain scores his third of game, 7:58 – now 9-4 EA
EA – Sam Lawlor unassisted, make it 10-4 – looks like All-Inter-Ac championship game Thursday as EA will get another shot at the Fords

EA – Odell from Conor McCann, 2:53 – now 11-4 – game has become a rout

L11- is final 11-4
