The inaugural show of Philly LAX Live will air tonight on Comcast Network at 6:30.
The weekly show is hosted by the Philadelphia Wings and will focus on the Wings, however, it also will feature the latest news and information on Philly high school, college and youth news with input in the future from Phillylacrosse.com.
A replay will be shown tonight at midnight on Comcast SportsNet.
Philly LAX Live will be the first show of its kind, co-hosted by former Wings captain and U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee Scott Gabrielsen and current Wings defenseman Brett Manney (Holy Ghost Prep, Delaware, NXT coach).
Gabrielsen and Manney will have insights in this behind the scenes look at the Philadelphia Wings professional lacrosse team. Each week they will go beyond Wings game stats and highlights to provide full coverage of the team’s community efforts and report on local youth, high school and college lacrosse action.
Following the series premiere on December 26, episodes will also be aired online and at various times throughout the week on both The Comcast Network and Comcast SportsNet. The first episode will feature a season preview for the 2013 Wings season and the Wings home opener at Wells Fargo Center on Friday, January 11, 2013, when they take on the Buffalo Bandits.
